DAIM Research, led by Professor Youngjae Jang of KAIST and CEO of DAIM Research, secured a KRW 10 billion Series A investment, bringing its total funding to KRW 12 billion. The investment was led by Stonebridge Ventures and Atinum Investment, both of which recognized DAIM Research's differentiated technology and growth potential despite the challenging investment environment. The company specializes in smart factory solutions that use AI and digital twin technologies to provide integrated control of fleets of more than 1,000 robots.

DAIM Research has established a strong customer base in advanced manufacturing industries, including semiconductors and secondary batteries, and its technology is becoming an essential part of the industry's transition toward robot-centered automation. CEO Jang said the new funding will support the establishment of an R&D center in Boston and joint research projects with MIT as the company accelerates its global expansion. He also expressed his ambition to grow DAIM Research into a leading global company driving the digital transformation (DX) of manufacturing while strengthening Korea's position in autonomous manufacturing software.
