Professor Youngjae Jang of KAIST and CEO of DAIM Research is driving efficiency improvements in advanced manufacturing through an AI reinforcement learning-based multi-robot control solution. DAIM Research has developed technology capable of orchestrating fleets of more than 1,000 robots and has achieved outstanding results in semiconductor OHT operations, increasing material handling throughput by 19% while reducing the number of robots required by 20%.

Professor Jang has demonstrated the company's technological capabilities through core algorithm patents and publications in SCI-indexed journals. In addition, DAIM Research supports operational optimization through digital twin-based simulation and is rapidly expanding its customer references across advanced industries that require highly precise manufacturing processes, including semiconductors and secondary batteries. Building on cumulative investment of KRW 13 billion, CEO Jang is accelerating the development of SaaS-based AI modules. Backed by technologies recognized through achievements such as the Minister of Science and ICT Award, he plans to build a global autonomous manufacturing ecosystem capable of integrated control across a wide range of robot platforms.
