DAIM Research Signs Robot Orchestration Solutions Business Partnership with Hyundai WIA

DAIM Research, a specialist in Physical AI-based robot orchestration, has signed a business partnership agreement with Hyundai WIA to accelerate its expansion into the logistics automation market. Through this partnership, the two companies will combine their technologies and expertise in robot orchestration solutions, advancing solution development while expanding into global markets through joint sales and business initiatives. Founded by Professor Youngjae Jang of KAIST and a team of Ph.D.-level engineers, DAIM Research has developed autonomous manufacturing technologies based on digital twins and reinforcement learning that enable the orchestration of thousands of robots.
The company has also developed innovative software that reduces logistics route design time from three to four weeks to just three hours. Hyundai WIA offers a broad lineup of logistics robots with payload capacities ranging from 300 kg to 1,500 kg, creating strong synergy with DAIM Research's intelligent orchestration solutions. CEO Youngjae Jang stated, "The combination of DAIM Research's integrated orchestration technology and Hyundai WIA's proven hardware will create a unique competitive advantage," adding that this partnership will mark an important turning point in establishing Korea's leadership in the Physical AI ecosystem. Together, the two companies plan to build an intelligent platform that goes beyond standalone transport equipment by seamlessly integrating the entire logistics system.
