Youngjae Jang, CEO of DAIM Research and Professor at KAIST, participated as a keynote speaker at the Season 3 Physical AI Frontier Nation New Technology Strategy Forum held at the National Assembly, where he presented the tangible results of an AI-powered unmanned factory platform deployed at an automotive parts manufacturing site. He announced that implementing the Physical AI-powered unmanned factory platform at steering wheel manufacturer DH Autolead reduced manufacturing time by 30 minutes per steering wheel and increased productivity by 7.4% compared with previous operations.

The forum was jointly hosted by lawmakers from both ruling and opposition parties and organized by major government-affiliated institutions to discuss concrete measures for achieving the government's national goal of making Korea a global Physical AI hub by 2030. Following CEO Jang's presentation of the demonstration results, the panel discussion highlighted a range of policy recommendations to overcome barriers to Physical AI adoption among small and medium-sized enterprises, including establishing government-led data standardization guidelines and developing legislative and administrative frameworks to protect manufacturing data.
