The government has identified the next three years as a golden window and announced large-scale investments in the development of indigenous foundation models and synthetic data generation to position Korea as the world's leading nation in Physical AI. At the public policy briefing, representatives from Korea's AI and robotics companies proposed a range of practical strategies and policy recommendations aimed at creating a decisive competitive advantage beyond the current large enterprise-centered ecosystem.
At the event, Youngjae Jang, CEO of DAIM Research, presented a turnkey export model for delivering complete Physical AI-powered advanced factories as a new national growth strategy. He emphasized that, with growing global demand for advanced factory construction, Korea should proactively create market demand and establish the global brand message, "For advanced factories, come to Korea," offering a concrete strategy in support of the government's vision.
