KAIST and 16 Industry Leaders Align to Standardize and Export Physical AI

At Physical AI Tech Week on October 13 at COEX, KAIST signed a multilateral MOU with 16 enterprise tech leaders—including Megazone Cloud, Doosan Robotics, and Rebellions—to establish open technical standards and drive joint overseas expansion in industrial Physical AI.
Spearheading the initiative as Governance Division Chair of the national Physical AI Alliance, Young-jae Jang (Professor at KAIST and CEO of DAIM Technology) emphasized that the consortium aims to transition beyond fragmented technology exports. By anchoring multi-robot orchestration, industrial AI, and digital twin simulation to open standards, the alliance plans to deliver turnkey Physical AI Unmanned Factory Platforms directly to global enterprise manufacturers, establishing an interoperable deployment ecosystem across overseas production plants.
