DAIM Research has entered into a strategic three-party Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KT Corporation and KAIST to co-develop, validate, and commercialize Physical AI technologies for industrial applications. Under this initiative—anchored by the Ministry of Science and ICT`s five-year national R&D project—the partners will jointly build an autonomous factory orchestration platform to accelerate global market expansion.
DAIM Research and KAIST will validate and scale autonomous manufacturing capabilities across real-world industrial testbeds, including the Physical AI Demonstration Lab, leveraging their proprietary robot fleet management and orchestration software. KT will provide high-speed, ultra-low-latency network infrastructure and Edge AI to enable real-time operational platforms.
Young-jae Jang, CEO of DAIM Research, stated that uniting KAIST’s research excellence, KT’s connectivity and AI infrastructure, and DAIM’s factory orchestration technology will deliver a proven benchmark for Physical AI Autonomous Factory Platforms worldwide.
