- 2025.11.23

DAIM Research, a specialist in robot orchestration solutions, has successfully completed a KRW 22 billion Series B funding round. The investment was backed by existing investors, including Atinum Investment, with Korea Development Bank joining the round as a new investor. As a result, DAIM Research's cumulative funding has reached approximately KRW 34 billion.
Founded by Professor Youngjae Jang of KAIST and a team of Ph.D.-level engineers, DAIM Research has developed Physical AI technologies capable of orchestrating thousands of robots. In May, the company further demonstrated its technological leadership by ranking second, behind Ford, at the IAAA Awards hosted by INFORMS, the world's largest analytics society. DAIM Research's software reduces logistics route design time from three to four weeks to just three hours, delivering a significant improvement in efficiency. In 2026, the company also plans to work with the government to provide its cloud-based solution free of charge, contributing to the expansion of the industrial ecosystem.
