"Integrating and Managing Diverse Robots to Build a Korean Unmanned Factory"
- 2026.05.05

CEO Youngjae Jang emphasized that the key competitive advantage in the era of Physical AI lies not in individual robots, but in AI orchestration platforms that integrate heterogeneous robots into a single operating system. DAIM Research has developed xMS, an AI-powered robot orchestration solution that integrates and manages robots from different manufacturers—including collaborative robots, AMRs, and humanoids—as well as xDT, a digital twin-based simulation solution. These technologies have been deployed at more than 50 manufacturing sites across industries including semiconductors and secondary batteries.
CEO Jang explained that by leveraging reinforcement learning (RL) and digital twins, the platform can identify optimal operational strategies based on real-world data and efficiently orchestrate up to 1,000 robots within a single system. He also noted that DAIM Research is expanding Korea's unmanned factory ecosystem through a Physical AI testbed developed in collaboration with 11 Korean companies. Looking ahead, he presented the company's vision of growing into a Korean Physical AI platform capable of intelligently orchestrating entire factories while expanding into global markets, including the United States.
