DAIM Research has signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with synthetic data specialist SKAI Intelligence and the KAIST Manufacturing Physical AI Research Center to advance and scale Physical AI across industrial manufacturing. The alliance will collaborate end-to-end—spanning core R&D, real-world proof-of-concept (PoC), specialized talent development, and global market expansion.
Under this agreement, DAIM Research leads commercial solution deployment across manufacturing sites, leveraging its Physical AI Unmanned Factory Platform and digital twin simulation to orchestrate heterogeneous robots and machinery into a unified system. SKAI Intelligence provides enterprise-grade synthetic data technologies, while KAIST spearheads foundational research and algorithmic development.
Il-hoe Hwang, CTO of DAIM Research, stated that delivering real industrial value requires moving beyond isolated automation to intelligent, factory-wide orchestration, while Young-jae Jang, Head of the KAIST Center, emphasized building a sustainable cycle that bridges academic research with field deployment.
