OHT

  • An OMS (OHT Management System) solution controls the OHT (Overhead Hoist Transporter) system, which is the core Automated Material Handling System(AMHS) of the OHT system used in semiconductor and secondary battery manufacturing.
  • DAIM Research’s OMS design is based on over 1,000 OHT vehicles driving. It provides the function to automatically set the optimal OHT dispatching and routing through an AI reinforcement learning-based algorithm.
  • This algorithm has been developed by KAIST researchers since 2016, and commercialization was completed in 2020.
  • DAIM Research's OMS system has already been utilized and verified by being introduced to a domestic global company.

AGV

  • The AMS (AGV Management System) solution controls the AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) system, a logistics robot widely used in various manufacturing fields and widely used in warehouses, etc.
  • Instead of providing high flexibility, AGV must address the issues of system design and operation to achieve optimal productivity.
  • DAIM Research has continuously dealt with AGV system designs, system evaluation, material control, and charging with researchers from the KAIST.
  • By applying DAIM Research’s algorithm, the system productivity of numerous domestic companies was improved significantly.
  • This solution has high reliability and enables quick solution application in simple environments such as grid type layout and unidirectional driving environments, as well as complex environments including various layouts, driving environments, and coexistence of multiple types of AGVs.

STK

  • It is a multi-purpose STK system operation solution that is used in general warehouses as well as for manufacturing flat panel displays, semiconductors, and secondary batteries.
  • Particularly in a system that utilizes two or more cranes, the task assignment of the cranes determines the efficiency of the overall system operation.
  • DAIM Research's AI-based optimal operation system calculates the optimal crane operation schedule by considering both the workload and movement patterns.
  • A representative flat panel display company in Korea has increased their productivity by using DAIM Research's algorithm.
  • This solution has been developed by researchers in KAIST since 2016 and has gained academic recognition.
